The Black Wall Street Chicago Festival 2025 isn’t just an event — it’s a vibrant celebration of culture, commerce, creativity, and community. This year’s theme, "A Tribute to Our Youth," honors the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs by providing spaces for inspiration, learning, and empowerment.

Join us on Saturday, September 13, 2025, on the newly designated 63rd Street Commercial Corridor in Woodlawn for a dynamic day filled with unforgettable experiences, including:

🖼️ Art & History Walk

Walk through installations celebrating the rich legacy of Black Wall Street in Tulsa and Chicago’s own historic business corridors. Local artists and youth creatives will contribute pieces that tell our collective story.

🛍️ Black-Owned Business Marketplace

Explore local vendors selling handmade goods, apparel, art, books, skincare products, services, and more. Each vendor represents the heartbeat of our community and the legacy of Black entrepreneurship.

🍗 Food Court & Local Flavors

Taste your way through delicious dishes from some of Chicago’s favorite food vendors & Black-owned restaurants.

👧🏽 Youth Entrepreneur Zone

Meet the next generation of moguls! Support and shop from our youth-owned businesses — a unique experience that empowers children and teens with real-world business exposure, including various trade industry mentors.

🎓 University Row

We're excited to introduce University Row, a dedicated area connecting youth and families with colleges, universities, and academic support programs. Representatives from HBCUs, Chicago-based universities, trade schools, and scholarship organizations will be on site to share resources and opportunities to inspire the next generation of scholars and innovators.
